In compression Fittings, Straight Connectors like Comp. Union, Reducing Union, Bulkhead Union (Straight Coupling), Male Connecter, Female Connecter (Male & Female Stud Couplings), Comp. Nut & Olives, are made from Bar stock or Extruded Rods.

Other Bend Connectors like Union Elbows, Union Tee, and Male Elbow are made from Forgings. For Forgings, materials from Extruded profiles are used.
